Smell with the fragrance
Of white wisteria, faint however
There is grief amid.
Blooming in the twilight
White wisteria, along its fragrance
Wither it will, so will love
Wither it may be.

@Petrushka 首段花の匂い「と」（smell WITH…）到底是「什麼」與花香一起嗅聞呢，到第二段才揭曉：一起嗅聞白藤花香與隱約的戀愛情感。花香消逝，「戀もするかな」，比喻的兩端終於齊備。第三段是更縮小了範圍：若有若無，越發無跡可尋，卻越發純淨，本是形容花香，但主語為「我が」恋，it is MY love that… 三段裡迂迴往復，逐漸幽微卻逐漸明瞭，最後無望才坦誠的戀心。
