Climate realism from a high school student:

Téa Johansson delivers her senior thesis.

I have kinda a crazy theory about climate alarmist. It has to do with the fact so many nations (Egypt and Turkey to start with) are hiding a lot of critical data about early Earth civilization. Göbeklitepe has barely been excavated, and all the major media outlets are trying to discredit the structures under the pyramids, even though that group of researchers have used their satellite technology to show complex 3D models of several known structures.

I think world leaders might want to chill the planet because a colder planet is required to activate the technology that has been dormant in many ancient structures.

Regan, Obama, the Pope and many other world leaders have made visits specifically to Antarctica. What are they hiding?

@ForBritain This whole climate scam is nothing more than a wealth and power transfer scam. Anybody who understands physics knows gases absorb along spectral lines and that the spectral lines for carbon dioxide are almost completely saturated by 12 feet off the ground, additional CO2 will slightly widen those lines but not terribly increase absorption.

The argument of Venus as a runaway greenhouse gas analog of Earth ignores a few significant facts about other differences between Venus and Earth. Venus is closer to the sun and so has a solar input of 2611 watts/square meter, Earth by contrast 1361 watts/square meter, so the solar input to Venus is nearly twice that of Earth. Second Venus's atmosphere is almost 100% carbon atmosphere, but if we burn all the accessible fossil fuels left on Earth, the CO2 concentration won't go above 800 parts per million, or less than .1%, third, Venus has an atmosphere 100% thicker than Earth's so even if Earth's atmosphere was 100% CO2, it still would only be 1% as thick as Venus, second Venus has other greenhouse gases, primarily sulfuric acid. The then the reason Venus has so much CO2 is not because of a runaway effect, it is because Venus has no life to capture CO2 into marine shells and no techtonic plates to subduct that captured carbon beneath the surface.

Carl Sagan was entertaining but he vastly oversimplified the science, and if we allow ourselves to be swayed by that oversimplification, then we doom ourselves to poverty and failure as a species, because, without sufficient wealth we will not develop the energy replacements we need to power civilization such as molten salt thorium breeder reactors or hydrogen fusion, and sorry but solar and wind will never get us there, and we will exhaust, albeit at a lower rate, the fossil fuels we can economically get at, and then we will starve to death.

@nanook @ForBritain without electricity people do not starve . we lived for a long time without it
@eris @ForBritain The population density in those times was much less, but without modern industrial farming humanity could not feed itself.
@nanook @ForBritain some of humanity but over all we will survive
@nanook @ForBritain @eris To be fair many of the equatorial races have been artificially over-inflated in numbers for a while now, so they're well deserving a population collapse.
Not that I agree with getting rid of electrical technologies, just saying. A lot of our problems is a few productive races being compelled for reasons to try and carry the burden of the taker ones who never experienced selection pressures towards cooperation and intelligence.

>Apocalyptic buzzword salad

I almost clicked away.

@ForBritain

BRAVO
I wrote about this and much more regularly for a decade before fb became garbage

She should mention the reason for Co2 to rise after an increased temperature, contrary to leading the change in heat, is due to the mass of the oceans and Newtons first law, inertia

It's also wrong that Co2 only has a minuscule heating effect on the global climate

The total effect of the Co2 is so small that it has proven impossible to measure. In other words, it's existence hasn't been proven

@ForBritain

Also, how can I support this fantastic young woman with my treasure?

@ForBritain
>CO2 has what plants need
>CO2 famine

How long until they start harvesting carbon dioxide and selling it to farmers?
@pepsi_man @ForBritain Last I checked they were harvesting carbon dioxide and pumping it into depleted oil wells.
@TakodachiEnjoyer @ForBritain
Are they storing it there or is it being consumed in some way?
@TakodachiEnjoyer @ForBritain
That means they're going to start selling it.
