"French" men attack and stole the phone from a man in Birmingham city centre because they didn't like that he was recording in public while he was walking around the streets.

They did it right in front of the police, who managed to get the phone back but then didn't make any arrests and denied that it was assault, leaving the men to walk free, another officer then said the man was causing a breach of the peace by recording.
