去年失联的旅行者号，居然给救回来了！！
说是负责打包数据传输的电脑（FDS）有个芯片坏了。这个坏掉的芯片上存着打包程序的一段代码。修补的方法更神奇了，找出哪块芯片坏了，找出哪段代码在上面，另外找地方腾挪放这段指令（不够位放一整块，还得切碎了分开来放），再把指向这段指令的指针都改一改，换去新地方，然后，ta-dah！
补丁花了22.5个小时到达已经算飞出太阳系了的旅行者一号上，再等了22.5个小时，数据回来啦。
46年前发射的探测器啊！ wiki说：The Flight Data System (FDS) is two 16-bit word machines with modular memories and 8198 words each. 一整个探测器上所有电脑的ram加起来，是69kb。KB！！！

This breakthrough suggests that all black holes may possess strong magnetic fields, challenging previous understanding.
The image also hints at the presence of a hidden jet emanating from the Milky Way’s black hole. Wow!

翻这本书，有几个想法：
1. 原来Apollo 10的crew最倒霉，他们做了所有Apollo 11要做的tasks，除了登陆。但没有人记得他们的名字。apollo8虽然也去绕了月亮，但因为是人类第一次，也算是第一。10就没有
2. Apollo8的Jim Lovell，就是史上唯一一个绕过两次月亮，但都没能落地的那个，是11的backup crew。也就是说，如果Armstrong临时食物中毒了不能飞，他就是one giant leap的那个。
3. 而且原来prelaunch check是backup crew做的。
4. 书的前言说得非常好，说：Apollo 11 was the result of an unprecedented symbiosis of political will and technological capability. 说有人质疑去月球意义何在，他的答复是：登月带来了infrastructure and technology, 带来了knowledge and experience。这个确实如此，登月带来的技术革新渗入到我们现代生活的方方面面。
usps还出过几套非常好看的太空邮票，2016年Views of our planets也非常好看，在我心中可跟sun science齐名(ps幸好那时候冥王星已经被除名，不然排版排不下了哈哈哈哈） 新视野号飞掠冥王星的著名的心形图案的邮票也很好。还有2019年登月60周年的也不错。
加拿大邮局出日全食的邮票，首日封太好看啦！可惜断货了。 2021年usps出过一套感温的日全食票，手指放上去捂热了下面的月亮就露出来了。那套很好玩，我买了一些送小朋友（忽悠他们上太空探索的贼船）。还有一套usps的sun science的邮票也非常漂亮。我略微晚了几天去买已经卖断了货。
几年前要好的同事送了我和同事几个同款保温杯，为了避免不小心拿错他们的杯子，我摸鱼就在自己的杯子上拿sharpie画图。图案洗掉了就重画。 这是最后一次画的，画完就疫情lockdown了。这是四年前的事情了。
我们图书馆的peeps diorama contest（查了下中文diorama叫什么，居然是西洋镜？） 实在太可爱了。我在Narnia和Dune之间犹豫了一下，但沙虫和后面两只兔子的蓝眼睛实在太棒了，我就投票给了Dune
